If you happened to be one of the lucky few to attend the first weekend of Coachella then chances are you got witness first hand the spectacle that was "Tupac Hologram". The internet has been buzzing all week about the technology behind Tupac's "Resurrection".
The project estimated at over $100,000 was Dr. Dre's vison and was brought to life courtesy of Digital Domain Media Group, the same people behind Titanic, Tron:Legacy, and the Transformers series. There are even rumors that Dre may bring this technology on tour with him, if this is the case then who knows who might show up. Nate Dogg? Eazy E.? The possibilities are endless.
The best part about the hologram's popularity might just have to be the fake Twitter account that was set up in his honor. With over 33,000 followers and tweets like " I see no changes, all I see is pixelations" how can you not love Hologram Tupac?
